I noticed that donation information for wildfire evacuees was scattered across various social media platforms and neighbourhood groups.

🗺️ My Solution

Using Leaflet.js, I developed an interactive map that allowed users to see businesses, animal shelters, and emergency shelters nearby accepting donations.

🇨🇦 Outcome

I was recognized by CBC Manitoba, CBC The National, and the Manitoba Provincial Government for supporting thousands of evacuees and donors in my community.
